This year’s edition of the Tallinn Maritime Days will surprise the audience with a diverse concert programme. Musicians from Estonia and abroad will hit the stage and provide only the best entertainment for the festival that takes place from the 15th until the 18th of July.
Saturday night, 15th of July, Maarja-Liis Ilus, Liisi Koikson, Rolf Roosalu and Pärnu City orchestra will perform under the conduction of Jüri-Ruut Kangur at the opening concert of Tallinn Maritime Days. «We are very glad to see that friendship between two Estonian sea cities has been fruitful and, as a result, the orchestra of Estonian Summer Capital - Pärnu City orchestra is coming to Tallinn to perform at the opening concert,» says Tõnno Piigli, the producer of Tallinn Maritime Days 2017. During the Tallinn Maritime Days the audience can also enjoy amazing sounds of the Petrojazz festival. «Petrojazz festival, already well-known in Europe, will be visiting us from Saint-Petersburg, the city of sea giving Estonians the opportunity to participate in this great festival,» said Piigli.
The famous Estonian music festival Intsikurmu festival, which is usually held in the forests of Põlvamaa, will also step into the buzz of Tallinn Maritime Days. One of the most awaited summer festivals will pack itself up and move to the capital city just for one day on July 15 offering an unforgettable experience to all music friends.
On July 16, Sunday evening, the Night Song festival will take place in the Seaplane harbour. «The Night Song festival has become very popular at the Tallinn Maritime Days, which is why we expect thousands of participants this year to sing and enjoy the evening together,» the producer of the Tallinn Maritime Days 2017. «Night song festival gladly welcomes everyone – children, their parents and grandparents. Their collection of songs is so wide-ranged that everyone will hear at least one of his or her favourite songs,» promised Piigli.
In addition, many other famous artists and bands will hit the stage during the Tallinn Maritime Days - Ivo Linna and Supernova, Põhja Konn, Zebra Island, Smilers, Shanon and many more. On July 18, the last musical accord will be given by Karl-Erik Taukar, Tanja Mihhailova and Estonian Dream Big Band in Old City Marina.
Tallinn Maritime Days are held from July 15-18, 2017. This year the festival celebrations will last for four days as the world’s biggest sail training regatta visits Tallinn. Tallinn Maritime Days are held during four days in five different harbours: Old City marina, Seaplane harbour, and in partner harbours - Haven Kakumäe, Port of Noblessner and Pirita marina.
Tallinn Maritime Days 2017 are organized by the City of Tallinn, Tallinn Culture Department, Port of Tallinn and Seaplane Harbour. Co-organizers are STA Estonia, Haven Kakumäe harbour, Port Noblessner marina, Pirita Municipality, Pirita Harbour marina. The festival is supported by Port of Tallinn, Alfons Hakans, Balbiino, ABC Motors.
